For my Health Game, “Get Happy!”, players will roll a dice to battle who can get to the end of the stressful road to happiness first. The stressful road will include situations/ picking up a card where they must come up with a coping mechanism in 10 seconds or else they lose their turn/ take the punishment on their card. The player who overcomes the stressful road and makes it to happiness first wins!
My game is targeted for college kids and the situations they go through daily. These are real scenarios that me or someone I know have gone through. Hopefully, this game will train your brain into coping with stressful situations instead of letting them overcome over life.

A game I played to prepare for this project was “Peak- Brain Training”. When I figured out I wanted to focus on mental health and peoples minds, I decided to play a game that helps train your brain for certain aspects that you want to work on and improve. This gave me the inspiration to build a game where coping mechanisms and working through tough situations was the overall point. To me, mental health is one of the most important aspects of health and working on ways to overcome real life situations. Peak trains your brain in a different way, focusing on memory, while my game will train your brain to overcome stressful situations and find coping mechanisms for real life scenarios that college kids face everyday.
